Action packed weekend including: The South West Club Championship in partnership with Triathlon England, Event village, Athlete Development Workshops, Guest Speakers (to be announced soon), Good food, Pasta party, Free Go Tri XMAN Warriors Kids Duathlon (Saturday 23 Sept), Skills School for children and coaches, Exmoor Secret Orchard Cider at the finish line over hay bails.

Swim: 1.9K – 2 Laps, Floating Start – Blacklands Beach Lynmouth. Friends and family can watch the action live on the Swim Cam for a glimpse of the action.

Note: we do not recommend swimming in the sea outside of our training sessions or triathlons where professional safety cover is provided by the team.

Bike: 92K – 2 Laps over Exmoor National Park – view the route on the map page where you can also download the GPX file for your Garmin.

Note: All XMAN Courses are well signed using yellow and black arrows with warning signs for approaching turns. Medics, mechanical assistance, and motorcycle officials are also on hand.

Run: 18K 1 EPIC Lap taking in stunning views and challenging climbs – you can view the route on the map page where you may also download the GPX file for your Garmin. (very handy for training)

Note: 3 Feed stations are located around the course with hydration and nutrition. We do advise you to carry a hydration device with you with spare nutrition as the run is long and tough – especially after the swim & bike.

The is a huge variety of places to stay in Lynton and Lynmouth – from luxury cottages and hotels to B&B and camping options to suit all budgets – be sure to book early as it will be a busy weekend.

Essentials

Please read your athletes guide (released 4 weeks prior to the event)
Please bring your BTF license, if you are a member of your national body and not racing on a day license – you can purchase one at registration or with your online entry.
Some form of identification so that we can make sure the right person is collecting the race numbers.

Bin liner for wrapping kit in if it rains (transition is open)

Sounds obvious but you do need a bike, with wheels… in working order! check your tyres don’t have splits, we advise road bikes (triathlon bikes for strong climbers)
